Roll-Over Protection System (ROPS)

The Roll-Over Protection System (ROPS) is an additional protective structure installed on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) with a gross mass of up to 4 tons. Its primary function is to safeguard vehicle occupants in the event of a roll-over, a leading cause of fatalities and injuries in such incidents.
